
Gov to Nigerians: Let Sacrifice Guide Us This Eid-ul-Mawlid
As Nigerians unite with people worldwide to celebrate Eid-ul-Mawlid, state governors have urged citizens to embrace the virtues of sacrifice, love, tolerance, and compassion exemplified by Prophet Muhammad.
The Eid-ul-Maulud celebration marks the commemoration of the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State conveyed his congratulations to all Muslims in and beyond Adamawa State on the occasion, as expressed through a statement by Chief Press Secretary Humwashi Wonosikou.
He encouraged Muslims to embrace and exemplify the Prophet’s enduring virtues of peace, kindness, humility, and selflessness in their everyday interactions.
“May this celebration bring peace, happiness, and blessings to everyone. As we reflect on the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) concerning tolerance, sacrifice, and peaceful coexistence, let us aim to emulate his virtues and work towards a brighter future for our state and nation,” he expressed.
