Family Announces Former Ekiti PDP Chairman’s Passing

The family of late Barrister Georgie Gboyega Oguntuwase has officially announced his demise.

A statement by the family said the former Peoples Democratic Party chairman, Ekiti State died in the early hours of Thursday, November 20, 2025.

The statement reads, “With deep sorrow, we the family of Oguntuwase of Ikole Ekiti announce the passing of our beloved brother, father and husband Barister Georgie Gboyega Oguntuwase Former PDP Chairman Ekiti State who passed away in the early hours of Thursday 20th November 2025.”

Until his demise, Barr. Oguntuwase remained an active and influential voice in the political spheres of Ekiti State.

Barrister Oguntuwase’s record was defined by purposeful and impactful contributions.
