Oyo State Commissioner for Justice and Attorney General, Prof. Oyelowo Oyewo, has joined the elite silk wig of the legal profession in Nigeria following his elevation to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria (SAN).
Prof Oyewo is one of the new 72 SANs, whose elevation was announced by the Legal Practitioners and Privileges Committee (LPPC).
Congratulating Prof. Oyewole, the Senior Special Assistant to Governor Makinde on Diaspora Affairs, Mrs. Bolanle Sarumi-Aliyu said the elevation is a testimony to his age-long dedication to legal practice and development of Nigerian jurisprudence through legal practice at the same time through the teaching of law.
“It is my pleasure to congratulate you, Prof. This is an elevation well deserved, considering your hardworking and dedication to duty as the Attorney General of Oyo state”, she wrote.
“On behalf of the entire Diaspora Affairs office, we wish you more success as you have been elevated to the prestigious rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria. We congratulate you on your well-deserved elevation”, she said.
She described the don as a diligent man, whom she sees as a role model, adding that she is proud of his lofty feats.
