As part of efforts to enlighten public on voter education, Critical Path Leadership Initiative organised a day symposium to deliberate on issues surrounding electoral processes.

Speaking at the event, tagged “Electoral Facts and Figures Forum” held in Ibadan today. The Executive Director of Acthub, Mr John Oluwafemi Olla, encourages the stakeholders to use their roles in shaping voters’ perfection and engagement.

He emphasized the correlation between transparency and electoral credibility and urged all stakeholders to embody the change they desire and actively participate in all the electoral processes to uphold electoral values.

The executive director then thanks all the participants for their activities’ involvement to improve our democracy.

In his own a remark, a member of Oyo State House of Assembly, Honourable Babalola Abiodun, highlighted the importance of the electorates in choosing their representative and the quality of individual entrusted with government role.

He stressed the role of political parties in educating voters and preparing them for elections. ” it is the responsibility of all and sundry to educate, infor, and enlight voters with necessary information before an election.

“Independence National Electoral Commission (INEC) can do it alone. You will recall that in the last general election only 25 percent of the total registed voters decided the outcome the election.”

The participants at the events include, stakeholders from some of the political parties in the state, religious leaders, media experts, and representatives of NOA, among others.
