Festivities, family and prayer were the main ingredients in a joy-filled series of events that marked the 90 years anniversary of St. Teresa’s College, Oke-Ado, Ibadan.St. Teresa's

Hundreds of students and alumni, past and present teachers, and staff, clergy and benefactors gathered at St. Teresa’s on February 4th, 2023 to remember the past, rejoice in the present, and plan for the future of the secondary school that opened in 1933 on a large expanse of land in the old Oyo State.

The grand-fianle yesterday, attracted dignitaries from all walks of life, including the Emeritus Archbishop of Ibadan, Most Rev’d Felix Alaba Job, Chairman, Nigeria-Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

The Seminary school kick started activities towards its anniversary on Thursday Sept 15, 2022 with a Tree Planting event at the school premises.

The Planning Committee was Chaired by Professor Sidi Osho, while big-wigs such as Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa, Otunba Ranti Koiki, Barr. Tayo Ladipo, Mrs Teju Ibukunoluwa and Mrs Funke Jegede assisted the Don.

According to the planning committee, the event was supported by the United Nations.

As part of activities to mark the milestone anniversary, the Alumni raised an appeal fund of N70 million for a total refurbishment of the school infrastructure such as building and renovation of classrooms, fences, library, road rehabilitation, construction of modern day toilets and much more.

The event was attended by ex-Teresians both in Nigeria and in the diaspora, who made the anniversary a huge success.
