As Shooting Stars Sports Club (3SC) of Ibadan gets set for the first home game of the season, the management of the Ibadan soccer lords, haa called for a large turnout of supporters and fans.
The Oluyole Warriors, are up against Plateau United of Jos, in a NPFL Matchday two fixture, kicking off at 5.30pm at the Lekan Salami Stadium.
Ahead of the encounter, the Executive Chairman of the club, Honourable Babatunde Olaniyan Akoro, charged the team’s teeming supporters and fans to come out in large numbers to cheer their darling to victory come Sunday.
“Let firstly appreciate our ever vociferous backers for their support last season, which went a long way in helping the team last season.
“They were simply fantastic and it was not a surprise to us when they emerged the best fans of the season. Well deserved
“We are on the march again this season and we cannot but plead for more of what we had last season. We are banking on their presence and support whenever we are playing at home, begining from this Sunday against Plateau United”, stated the 3SC boss.
Honourable Olaniyan, also appealed for the support of the Media, urging them to contribute to the success of the team this season, even as he assured of the club’s readiness to cooperate with them.
