A leisure facility, Race Course Amphitheatre, will officially open its doors to fun seekers and tourists in Ibadan, capital city of Oyo State on Wednesday, December 30, 2020.
Located at the amphitheatre, inside Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba Ibadan, Race Course Amphitheatre is about 3 minutes drive from the neighbouring Ibadan Recreation Club.
Speaking to oyonews.com.ng correspondent, the brain behind the leisure facility, said, ‘Race Course’ would not only make up the numbers in the hospitality sector, but make a huge mark in the growth of the hospitality and tourism sector in Oyo state and indeed Nigeria.
He said the official grand opening will also serve as ‘End of The Year Hangout’ which is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at the amphitheatre inside Lekan Salami Sports Complex, Adamasingba, Ibadan.

With about 5,000 seats, the amphitheatre hangout would be a content driven venue with games such as, mini golf, bowling board games, chess among others.
The amphitheater includes an art gallery, dance studio, seminar room and lots more.
Race course is inside the Adamasingba stadium which was built on the old race course location in Ibadan. It is at “Entry Gate 1, opposite Ibadan Recreation Centre, Sabo, Ibadan”.
