Oyo State Government has began payment of 2020 Oyo State Law School Bursary to its indigenes in the Nigerian Law School.
His Excellency Engr. Oluseyi Makinde approved the sum of N500,000 each for 233 Oyo State indigenes in the Nigerian law school few months ago.
Reveling this on his social media handles, Commissioner for Youths and Sports, Seun Fakorede said, “his is a clear indication that the Oyo State Government led by His Excellency, Engr. Oluseyi Makinde is a promise keeping and fulfilling Government. It should be noted also that it is a responsive/responsible government with a sustainable structure”.
He noted that despite the economic situation and challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic; has deemed it fit to execute his promise.
Fakorede further revealed that Rt. Hon. Maroon Atilola has been appointed as the Chairman, Oyo State Scholarship Board.
This, he said will ensure that more of Oyo State indigenous students benefit from Oyo State scholarships and bursaries.
