The Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly, Hon. Debo Ogundoyin, has announced the appointment of his Senior Legislative Assistants.

This is coming barely two weeks after the speaker appointed a broadcaster, Opeyemi Ayanrinde as his Special Assistant on Mobilization.

The Speaker said Ayanrinde is a popular Radio/Television Broadcaster, who hails from Ward 4, Aborerin in Eruwa.
According to the speaker, the two appointees also hail from Ibarapa East, his constituency.
They are Mr. Sunday Olawale Okunlola and Mr. Gbolasere Adesola Paul.
Mr. Sunday Olawale Okunlola is from Jagun Oke-Aro Compound in Anko, Eruwa while Mr. Gbolasere Adesola Paul is a native of Lanlate, Agasa Compound in Oke-Otun.
In a terse statement on Friday, the Hon. SpeKer, who represents Ibarapa East State constituency, said the appointments were a reward for loyalty, dedication, and commitment over the years.
He, therefore, charged the new aides to continue on this path to further drive the Oyo State Assembly agenda, under his leadership.
Mr. Speaker also directed the appointees to positively project the House at all times and show absolute loyalty to the Government of the day.
Ogundoyin said, “I have no doubt that their capacity and political sagacity over the years will be useful in the discharge of their new assignments and responsibilities”.
“Congratulations to my new SLAs on their well-earned appointments,” Ogundoyin said.
