
Oyo College of Nursing Kicks Off 27th Convocation Ceremony with Jumat Prayers
The Oyo State College of Nursing and Midwifery, Eleyele, Ibadan commenced its 76th Founder’s Day and Convocation Ceremony with Jumat Prayers at the College Mosque on Friday, April 25, 2025.

Addressing the Muslim faithful after the Jumat, the Provost, Dr. Gbonjubola Owolabi expressed profound gratitude to the Muslim Community for their unwavering support and contributions to the College’s growth and development.
Dr. Owolabi acknowledged the Muslim Community’s pivotal role in shaping the character of students and fostering a peaceful environment within the College.
She urged the community to continue to pray for the success of the Convocation Ceremony and to remain committed to guiding students.
Earlier, the Chief Imam of Oluyole Estate Extension, Alh. Muthadir Bada enjoined students to stay away from drugs, and other related vices.
While he commended Dr. Owolabi’s giant strides on the campus, he urged the management team to keep supporting her.
The event featured special prayers by Alh. Bada for the success of the 27th convocation ceremony, asking for divine guidance and protection throughout the Ceremony.
Management team in attendance included the Registrar, Mr. Adewale Raji; College Librarian, Pastor Iseoluwa Adedokun; as well as several other staff members of the College. OYO NEWS
