The Osun state government has facilitated the return of a citizen, Seyi Olugbeja, whose video went viral on social media on Saturday 5th August 2023.
The young Seyi Olugbeja who was interviewed by one Bakare Wakili in Lagos, appeared mentally challenged. However, he could identify himself and disclosed details about his background.
The attention Governor Ademola Adeleke was drawn to the viral video who subsequently directed the Secretary to the State Government, Hon. Teslim Igbalaye to liaise with the officers of the state Ministry of Health and other relevant government agencies to make necessary arrangements for the return and eventual rehabilitation of Seyi Olugbeja.
The SSG made contact with Wakili and facilitated Seyi’s movement from Lagos to Osun state on Sunday.
Hon. Igbalaye along with other staff of the state ministry of health personally received Seyi who was brought to the state by Wakili at the government house, Oke Fia, Osogbo.
Hon. Tesleem Igbalaye has on behalf of the state government handed Seyi Olugbeja over to the officials of the Uniosun Teaching Hospital for proper medical attention.
The state government has also established contact with Seyi’s family and adequate briefings duly supplied. OYO NEWS
