Team Kwara has continued its dominance at the ongoing 8th National Youth Games in Asaba, Delta State, clinching 2 gold and 1 bronze in five events.
Grace Gana claimed gold in the Girls’ Singles, while she teamed up with Falana Busayo to strike gold in the Girls’ Doubles.
In other news, Mohammed Fatiu went all out to capture the bronze title in the Boys’ Singles.
Mr Damilola Ismail, the Head of Fives Sports, expressed his satisfaction with the athletes’ stunning performance, attributing their success to the support they received from the government, positive attitude and commitment.
In addition, Hassan Olojoku claimed another gold for Team Kwara and set unbeaten record in the Scrabble event, bringing their total gold medal count to 5.
