National Council of Muslim Youths Organisation, NACOMYO, has lauded Oyo State Governor on the recent take-over of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomosho.
This is contained in a statement in Ibadan by Coordinator, NACOMYO, Oyo State Chapter, Alhaji Dawood Afolabi.
Alhaji Afolabi noted that restoring LAUTECH’s glory by giving full ownership to Oyo state Government, was one of Governor Makinde’s campaign promises, adding that this is highly commendable, as it was achieved in record time.
He described the prompt actions of the Governor to nip the LAUTECH issue in the bud as a welcome development.
The NACOMYO Coordinator noted that Governor Makinde’s administration must not rest on its oars until LAUTECH regains its position as the best State University in the country.
He added that the present administration should put in place matters bothering on workers’ welfare infrastructural development and quality of teaching.
Alh. Afolabi prayed for God’s wisdom, resilience and zeal to take Oyo state to an enviable heights for the Governor.
