Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde on Wednesday presented vehicles to leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Oyo State.
The Governor’s gesture was disclosed by the party’s state publicity secretary, Engineer Akeem Olatunji on his verified social media pages.
“The Leader of PDP in Oyo State, Governor Seyi Makinde, in his personal capacity gave out official vehicles bought with money from his private purse for each of the State Executive Members of Oyo State PDP.”
“No doubt, loyalty and commitment has reward and we appreciate the benevolence and generosity of His Excellency, Engr Seyi Makinde”, the post read.
“To God be the glory, Congratulations to all of us while everyone in the party will also benefits with patience.”
You may recall that Governor Makinde before his emergence in 2019 had presented vehicles to all the PDP Local Government Chairmen in the state.
The Governor had also purchased vehicles for all the Commissioners, other officials, state lawmakers and top civil servants.
Good guesture. It is good to pay the people for their efforts. I don’t think they are on salary.
