Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has expressed disappointment over the slow pace of work at the ongoing upgrade and expansion of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) Headquarters, Saki.
He expressed displeasure at the unencouraging pace at which the project is running today during a facility tour in Saki town.
The governor, who was being taken round projects in Saki while on the spot-check of the facilities was equally at Saki Township Stadium and TESCOM zonal office building.
Makinde said he was not happy that he would not pass the night at the Governor’s Lodge of the ongoing OYSADA project at Saki.
“Today, we inspected some ongoing projects in Saki. The upgrade and expansion of the Oyo State Agribusiness Development Agency (OYSADA) Headquarters is running behind schedule. I had hoped to spend Christmas at the Governor’s Lodge here. I look forward to seeing the completed project in March 2021”, he said.
However, the Governor said the smooth work going on at the Saki Township Stadium and TESCOM Zonal Office building gladdens his heart.
“We were also at the Saki Township Stadium to inspect the ongoing upgrade. Lastly, we visited the construction site for the TESCOM zonal office building. Work is going on smoothly at both sites”.
