The Executive Governor of Oyo state, Engr. Seyi Makinde has sent the name of Barrister Lateef Idowu Oyeleke as commissioner nominee to the Oyo state house of assembly for screening and approval.
The Speaker, Oyo state state house of assembly, Rt Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, made this known while reading a message sent to the house from the Executive on Thursday during its plenary after resuming from the brief recess to celebrate Eid-el Kabir.
Governor Makinde, according to the letter, is seeking to appoint Barr. Oyeleke as the new Commissioner for Environment to replace late Hon Kehinde Ayoola who was until his death, the commissioner for environment and whose demise has left the office vacant.
The house has therefore called for 50 (fifty) copies of the nominee’s curriculum vitae (CV) to be submitted to the house on the 10th of August, after which screening and possible approval will be made on 11th of August, 2020.
Barr. Oyeleke is until his appointment was the Chairman, Oyo State Community and Social Development Agency.
