Junior Chamber International (JCI) of The Polytechnic Ibadan chapter won the 36th edition of the Foluso Oluleye Sports Competition (FOSC) at the Lead City University Sports Field with six gold, one silver and one bronze.

The News Agency of Nigeria  (NAN) reports that JCI Ikeja came second with four gold, three silver and one bronze, while JCI Ibadan came third with four gold, three silver and two bronze.

Abiola Olorunnisola, the 21st president, JCI Nigeria, said they are poised at making leaders who will change the world.

Olorunnisola said that their organisation provides development opportunities that empower youths to create positive changes in the world.

“We envisage that we want to be that organisation that unites all sectors of the society. We provide opportunities for our members in the community and in business.

“This is to a great man who meant well for the organisation. This tournament is also our own Olympics, where we see members from across the federation competing among themselves for fun and recreation.

“We use the tournament to keep fit and burn some calories. All we do encompasses all spheres of life and not limited to a particular sphere,” he said.

Adeola Adelabu, the president JCI Ibadan said the tournament is an annual.tourney to honour a late member who was committed to sports development.
“This is to a great man who meant well for the organisation. This tournament is also our own Olympics, where we see members from across the federation competing among themselves for fun and recreation.
“We use the tournament to keep fit and burn some calories. All we do encompasses all spheres of life and not limited to a particular sphere,” he said.
