Hundreds of journalists have signed a letter condemning Western Media’s bias coverage of the ongoing Israel’s war on Gaza.

The letter decried western media’s use of ‘dehumanising rhetorics’ to justify genocide being perpetrated by Israeli troops in Gaza.

The signatories to the letter while affirming that Israel’s treatments of Palestinians can best be described as genocide and ethnic cleansing, urged media outlets to consider the use of genocide and ethnic cleansing to describe Israel’s massacres of Palestinians in their reporting.

The signatories accused Western Media of dismissing the views of the Arabs and Palestinians as unreliable.

Among the signatories to the letter are the correspondents of La Time, Reuters, The Guardian and Washington Post.

According to the journalists, vilifying the Palestinians and Arabs but not calling Israel apartheid is a double standard.

They further condemned Israel’s attacks of journalists covering the war on Gaza.

No less than 47 journalists have so far been killed by Israeli airstrikes since the war began on October 7.

Meanwhile, the Israeli army has announced that about 8,000 Israelis including 300 soldiers were killed by Hamas in the conflict.

The Palestinian authorities, on the other hand, disclosed that 11,000 Palestinians have been killed by Israeli soldiers.
