The Ibadan Mega Voice, IMV, in Oyo State has commenced a week of activities to mark the association’s first year anniversary.
Under the leadership of Kola Olomide, members of the organisation on Sunday joined the congregation of Seed of Christ Golden church in Ibadan, for a church service.
After an uplifting sermon by Apostle Solomon Mustapha, popularly called Baba Sebi oba, the Association’s President, Kola Olomide addressed the congregation.
He said, “As IMV begins celebration of our first year anniversary, it is important for us to take a moment to recognise the profound impact of God’s guidance upon our association. This is why we are here”.
He acknowledged, “Ibadan Mega Voice, IMV has grown in leaps and bounds, due to the increasing support of our members, who are professionals in different fields of the media sector.”
Highlighting the importance of Ibadan Mega Voice to Ibadan city, he said, “IMV puts Ibadan first. We promote Ibadan and put it on the world map through the activities of members, who are PR experts, broadcasters, journalists, lecturers etc.”
Kola Olomide expressed gratitude that IMV reached this milestone, within a year.
He continued, “IMV plays a vital role in setting and upholding the standards that underpin the essence of Ibadan city. In IMV, we understand the importance of standards in promoting Ibadan, as a city with many firsts.”
The host Minister, Baba Sebi oba assured, IMV of the church’s support.
