Following the Oyo State High Court’s judgment on Thursday, the deputy governor of Oyo State, Engr. Rauf Olaniyan, has commenced process to appeal the judgement.
Recall that Justice Ladiran Akintola had dismissed his suit, seeking for redress on the impeachment process initiated against him by the Oyo State House of Assembly.
Counsel to Olaniyan, Chief Afolabi Fashanu, confirmed the new development on Thursday.
Recall that Justice Ladiran Akintola said the defendants have not breached any constitutional provisions on the matter.
