Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State today, commissioned Obaji Street/Woji Road reconstruction project in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.
Commissioning the project, with the host Governor, Nyesom Wike, Mankinde commended his (Governor Wike’s) developmental strides in Rivers state and urged him to do more.
“This is part of my brother, Governor Nyesom Wike’s overall plan of urban renewal in Rivers State, and I commended him for his developmental strides and urged him to do even more”, he said.
Governor Makinde opined that developments are a big part of democracy, stressing that every project contributes to the overall progress of the nation.
“Developments are a big part of our democracy, and every project counts towards the overall progress of the nation”, he said.
“Any project that will contribute to the reduction of our infrastructural deficit is a welcome idea and should be applauded”, he added.
