Yesterday, Governor Biodun Oyebanji attended the Jumat service at the Central Mosque, Oja Oba, Ado-Ekiti, in solidarity with the Muslim community.
His presence reasserted our administration’s unwavering commitment to upholding religious harmony and ensuring that all communities in Ekiti State are represented and valued.
The Governor promised to build a more inclusive state, where residents thrive.
“As we journey onward, we will continue to build a more inclusive, peaceful, and united Ekiti where all residents thrive”, he said.
Earlier, the governor commissioned the remodeled Otunba Adeniyi Adebayo Presidential Lodge, as part of activities marking the second anniversary of hos administration.
The governor commissioned two 33KV power lines for: Aramoko-Ekiti — Ijero-Ekiti and Ilawe Ekiti — Igbara-Odo Ekiti.
The commissioning of these power lines marked a significant milestone in enhancing electricity supply in these areas.
For Aramoko-Ekiti – Ijero-Ekiti, the new power line will put an end to the era of epileptic power supply in the area, which had previously relied on an unstable feeder line from Kwara State.
For Ilawe Ekiti — Igbara-Odo Ekiti, the new power line will enhance both the quantity and quality of the power supply to both Ilawe-Ekiti and other neighbouring communities.
By undertaking and completing these projects, Governor Oyebanji reaffirms Ekiti State Government’s commitment to providing infrastructure that will facilitate economic activities, improving the quality of life of residents and ensuring that no part of Ekiti is left behind in the quest for #SharedProsperity.
