An outlet of Grandex Supermarket and Stores located at Bodija, Ibadan, was razed by fire on Sunday afternoon.
The incident which started from the back office gradually spread to the main stores.
However, men of Oyo State fire service saved the day, putting out the fire, whose cause could not be ascertained.
Grandex supermarket with branches in Ibadan and Lagos is owned by Mrs Florence Ajimobi, wife of late Senator Isaik Ajimobi, former Governor of Oyo state.
