First Lady Calls for Love, Unity in Christmas Message

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has called on Nigerians to use the Christmas season as a moment to embrace love, compassion and generosity toward one another.

In her Christmas message titled “Hope Beyond the Season,” the First Lady extended warm felicitations to Christians celebrating the birth of Jesus Christ, urging citizens to reflect on the values that strengthen national harmony.

OYO NEWS reports that she noted that the festive period offers an opportunity for families and friends to unite while also reaching out to those in need.

Senator Tinubu expressed gratitude to God for His faithfulness throughout the year and offered prayers for peace and safety across the country, regardless of religious affiliation. She emphasized the importance of fostering unity among Christians, Muslims and people of other faiths.

Looking ahead, the First Lady prayed that the year 2026 will bring renewed hope, greater unity and prosperity for all Nigerians. She wished citizens a joyful celebration and a fulfilling New Year.
