EKSG, UN To Train Stakeholders in Urban Development
Ekiti State Government, in partnership with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat), will hold a technical workshop on Thursday, 12th September 2024, to strengthen stakeholders in the housing and urban development sector.
The workshop, focusing on the Housing Barometer and Public-Private Partnership, is part of UN-Habitat’s Institutional Capacity Support initiative and follows the Ekiti Waste Wise City Tools (WaCT) training held on 20th August 2024.
A statement from the office of the Technical Adviser to the Governor on Lands and Geographic Information System, Mr. Akintobi Olusanmi, revealed that the workshop will be held at the Ground Floor Conference Hall, Governor’s Office, Ado-Ekiti, starting at 9 a.m.
The event will centre on linking effective land administration, tourism, housing, and urban planning through Public-Private Partnership strategies.
Olusanmi stressed the importance of the forum and urged all invited stakeholders to attend as scheduled.
