On Monday, Ali Bukar Dalori, the Acting National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), promised party members that he is committed to fulfilling his new role with openness, inclusiveness, and a unified sense of purpose.

After taking office, Dalori addressed the National Working Committee members of the party in Abuja. He expressed gratitude for their ongoing support and loyalty to the party, stating that he was ready to collaborate with them as partners in the shared mission of maintaining unity, discipline, and focus within the party.

The Acting National Chairman urged NEC members to focus on the larger goals: providing good governance for Nigerians, enhancing democracy within party structures, and preparing for the future with clear purpose and resolve

On Monday, the new acting APC National Chairman, Hon. Ali Bukar Dalori, took office and is currently leading a meeting of the National Working Committee at the Party’s National Secretariat in Abuja.

He emphasized that as they prepare for the 2027 general elections, party members must start strengthening internal processes, reconnecting with their grassroots support, and revitalizing their structures at all levels.

Dalori, previously serving as the Deputy National Chairman (North) for the APC, became the party’s acting chairman after Abdullahi Ganduje resigned from his position as national chairman.

Ganduje, hailing from the North-West zone, took over as party leader in August 2023 after his predecessor Abdullahi Adamu, who was from the North-Central zone, resigned.

On Saturday, the APC governors from the Progressive Governors’ Forum (PGF) collectively expressed their approval of Ganduje’s resignation, stating that it is in line with the party’s ongoing development.

The decision was made at the conclusion of a two-day strategic regional meeting held by the PGF in Benin City, Edo State. The event occurred on Saturday and was hosted by Governor Senator Monday Okpebholo. OYO NEWS OYONEWS
