The City Boy Movement, a youth-driven support group advocating the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027, has distributed food items worth millions of naira to Muslim and Christian communities in Cross River State.

The outreach, held in Calabar, involved the distribution of over 5,000 boxes of palliatives containing essential food items. The initiative targeted beneficiaries across both faiths in recognition of the ongoing religious observances.

Speaking during the exercise, the State Coordinator of the group, Okon Eyo-Ita, said the intervention was aimed at supporting Muslims marking Eid-el-Fitr and Christians preparing for Easter celebrations.

He described the City Boy Movement as more than a political support group, noting that it serves as a platform for youth mobilisation, civic engagement and grassroots participation in national development.

According to him, the Calabar outreach marks the beginning of a broader initiative designed to position the group as a unifying force and driver of positive social impact.

One of the beneficiaries, Ekaete Bassey, who spoke on behalf of others, expressed appreciation for the gesture, describing it as timely support for families during the festive period.
