President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Oluwatoyin Sakirat Madein as the substantive Accountant General of the Federation (AGF).
The approval came following the successful conduct of a selection process to fill the existing vacancy.
This is contained in a statement, signed by the Director, Communications, Office of the Head of Civil Service of the Federation, Mohammed Abdullahi Ahmed on behalf of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr Folasade Yemi-Esan.
According to the statement, the appointment takes effect from Thursday, May 18, 2023.
OYO NEWS reports that Oluwatoyin Madein was born on 7th of March, 1965 in Iperu Remo Ikenne LGA Ogun State.
She is the President of Ladies Progressive League of Methodist Church, Wuse, Abuja. The project is caring for the widows and supporting their children education.
Madein earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Management/Finance from the Walden University between 2012 – 2020.
Until her appointment, Oluwatoyin Madein was the Director of Finance and Accounts in the Office of the Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (OHCSF).
