Arowosaye Appreciates Makinde Over Appointment as PMDC Board Chairman

The newly appointed Chairman of the Board of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company (PMDC), Hon. Prince Arowosaye Saheed Adeyemi, has expressed appreciation to Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, for appointing him to lead the state-owned mineral development company.

Adeyemi, in a statement made available to journalists, described the appointment as a great honour and a call to higher service in contributing to the growth and development of Oyo State.

He noted that the confidence reposed in him by Governor Makinde would further motivate him to contribute meaningfully to the development of the state, particularly in the area of mineral resource management and economic advancement.

The PMDC Board Chairman pledged to discharge his responsibilities with loyalty, commitment, diligence and transparency in line with the developmental vision of the current administration.

According to him, he is prepared to work closely with members of the board, management team and other stakeholders to ensure the sustainable development of Oyo State’s mineral resources for the benefit of residents and the economic prosperity of the state.

Adeyemi further assured residents that the board under his leadership would prioritise productivity, accountability and strategic initiatives capable of positioning the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company as a major driver of economic growth in the state.

“I am deeply honoured by His Excellency, Engr. Seyi Makinde, Governor of Oyo State, for the confidence reposed in me through my appointment as Board Chairman of the Pacesetter Mineral Development Company (PMDC),” he said.

“I accept this responsibility with gratitude and a strong sense of duty to the people of Oyo State. I pledge to discharge my mandate with absolute loyalty, dedication and diligence in line with the vision of the Oyo State Government.”

He also thanked Governor Makinde for the opportunity to serve and prayed for continued wisdom and success for the governor in steering the affairs of the state.
