The National Executive Council of the All Progressives Congress, on Tuesday dissolved all States, Zonal and Structures.

Also the ruling party has extended the tenure of the caretaker committee led by Governor Mai Buni by six months.

The decision was taken at a meeting of the committee attended by President Muhammadu Buhari; his Vice, Yemi Osinbajo, and other party chiefs.

The committee also dissolved all party organs at polling units, ward, local government, state and zonal levels and such members to constitute caretaker committees.

NEC also directed that new members of APC should be granted waivers so they can contest for elections without having to wait for two years which was done previously.

Leadership of the party urged the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) not to politicize insecurity but to collaborate with the government to end the insurgency affecting the country.

Meanwhile, Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El-Rufai, told State House correspondents at the end of the meeting that the party also approved the expulsion of former National Vice Chairman, South-south, Ntufam Hilliard Eta, for his failure to withdraw the court case instituted against the caretaker committee.
