The Executive Chairman, Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board, Dr. Nureni Aderemi Adeniran has delivered Polling Units 10 and 11, Asa compound, Ibadan South-West Local Government, for all the People’s Democratic Party candidates.
This is not the first time Adeniran will win votes for his party candidates at his compound, as he has been doing this without hassles.
At the polling units, PDP polled an aggregate score of 100 votes for the presidential elections, while All Progressives Congress polled 89 votes.
The results showed that many of the registered voters at the polling units did not turn up to participate in the presidential/national assembly election.
Voting at the polling unit had begun at about 9:30 am and ended at about 2:30 pm following which officials of INEC and ad-hoc staff started sorting before counting.
Oyo News learnt the results were announced at about 3 pm.
Dr. Adeniran is the Deputy Director-General, Oyo South for Governor Seyi Makinde’s re-election campaign.
