Kwara State Government, under the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has announced plans to officially flag off the construction of 209.77km of rural roads in the state.

The road projects will be carried out under the Rural Access and Agricultural Marketing Project (RAAMP), according to a statement on Sunday.

This strategic initiative, the statement further said, reflects the unwavering commitment of Governor Abdulrazaq to open up more cities and villages to pave the way for increased economic growth and development.

This monumental project, experts have said, will embolden investors to do business in Kwara and ease the transportation of goods from villages across the state to cities.

The government called on residents to join them on Monday, October 21, 2024 at Madi-Peeke Road, Asa/Ilorin West LGA at 11:00 AM to be part of this historic milestone as we transform our rural communities and boost opportunities for all.
