Hon. Tolulope Akande-Sadipe, Member of the House of Representatives, representing Oluyole Federal Constituency, has lauded Nigerians for their resilience in the face of adversity while calling for renewed commitment to unity and national progress.

As Nigeria marks another milestone of independence, Akande-Sadipe took the opportunity to reflect on the trials that have shaped the nation.

In her address, Akande-Sadipe said, “Our journey as a nation has not been easy, but through every storm, Nigerians have shown resilience, unity, and unwavering hope. There is no challenge too great for us to overcome as a people. This is the strength that defines Nigeria.”
The lawmaker acknowledged the ongoing challenges the country faces but stressed that these difficulties should not dampen the collective optimism for a brighter tomorrow.
In a message that resonated deeply with Nigerians at home and abroad, Akande-Sadipe called for unity in purpose and a steadfast belief in the future of the nation.
“We are living through times of reform, times of change, and for some, times of hardship. But Nigeria is a nation of strong men and women. Our past is a testament to our ability to overcome, and our future holds the promise of greater days ahead,” she noted.
The Chairman of the House Committee on Ethics and Privileges also praised Nigerians for their patience and perseverance during this period of national transformation, emphasizing that the current efforts aimed at economic revitalization, security, and national development would ultimately bear fruit.
Hon. Akande-Sadipe concluded her statement by urging Nigerians to continue working together, reaffirming that collective action and unity are crucial to the success of the nation. She expressed her confidence in President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope” agenda and reiterated her commitment to ensuring that Oluyole Federal Constituency remains a key contributor to the nation’s progress.
“As we celebrate Nigeria at 64, let us remember that the strength of this country lies not in its natural resources, but in its people—each and every one of us. Together, we will build the Nigeria of our dreams, a nation where every citizen thrives in peace, unity, and prosperity,” she concluded.
