Multiple Award-winning indigenous health content on-air personality, Faysol Oluwakemi, is set to hold the eighth edition of his annual health lecture, this October in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital.
The event, organised by Faysol Oluwakemi is scheduled to hold on Monday, 2nd October 2023, at David Ajiboye Hall, Yinka Ayefele Music House, Challenge, Ibadan.
The 8th Faysol Oluwakemi Annual Health Lecture (FOHCAF 2023) themed; “Cancer: Kill It Before It Kills You” will have the chairman and CEO, Fresh FM, Nigeria as the chief host.
The convener, Faysol Oluwakemi, in a statement made available to newsmen by the secretary of the event planning committee, Dr. Tobiloba Ojo, stressed that the annual event is aimed at spreading health information and awareness to the populace as professional health practitioners would be assembled at the event to do justice to the theme.
The statement further hinted that the event will feature free general medical screening which include eye screening, blood sugar test, blood pressure check, hepatitis screening status and a host of other free blood tests which will commence by 8:30AM, shortly before the main event by 10 AM, while Faysol Oluwakemi’s health news and wellness-focused website “Health Reportage will “officially” be unveiled.
According to Faysol, expected speakers, at the event are:
Dr. Mutiu Alani JIMOH, Consultant Clinical Radiation Oncologist, University College Hospital, Ibadan; Dr. Foluke Sarimiye, Consultant Radiation and clinical oncologist/Psycho-Oncologist and Executive director Patela care Foundation; Dr. Bolaji Lateef Salako, Radiation and Clinical oncologist, Federal Medical Centre, Abeokuta; Dr. Afolabi Oladeji, Consultant Radiation and Clinical Oncologist, Director, Alpha Specialist Hospital, Ibadan.
